Personal Statement

I have always loved the game of softball and have been playing since I was 6 years old. I hope to one day become a strong contributor on a college team that can give me every opportunity to learn and play. My work ethic and determination set me apart from most other girls with the same dreams as myself. I practice high school softball every day, and I pitch with Bruce Ladiner and Jessie Holliday on Monday as well as hit with my travel team on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. I am looking for an opportunity and will work hard to prove my ability. My academic goals are to graduate college with high honors and to one day become a pediatric surgeon who helps small children have a chance at life. Thanks for considering me. Hope to one day see you on the dirt.

Update: I have decided to stop pitching and focus more on the hitting and defensive aspects of the game as well as my speed. Some girls on the team and myself are getting a personal trainer this off season for core and speed work. Those classes begin second week of November 2015.
