Personal Statement
I do very well in the classroom, and on the field, therefor my education comes first. However, my "smarts" also transfer to the field. I love to study the game of softball and understand my opponents little tendencies in order to exploit them. Perhaps my fondest memory playing softball was when my coach allowed myself, and a teammate, to coach an entire game. I picked the lineup, gave signs, called pitches, I coached an entire game! In doing this I came to understand a coach's thought process when making decisions and how to make a logical decision during the heat of a game. I am a lead-by-my-actions kinda gal who always tries to build up my teammates through whatever means necessary, whether it be pep-talks, cheering them on, serenading them, or dancing like a mad-man, I do it. That being said I am a little off-kilter, with my random historical facts and my constant Broadway references that no one catches. All in all, "I am not throwing away my shot" (sorry, Hamilton reference).
