Personal Statement
Softball is my passion. Being born legally blind in one eye and told I would never play ball or any sport was one thing, But in 2012,I was attacked by a 100 pound American Bull Dog while swimming at a friends house. After loosing, part of my nose, ear, and lips as well as having both cheek bones and facial bones crushed, I came back more determined knowing that God had a plan for my life. With that as the backdrop, and with my parents support, I authored my first book entitled God's Girl Living for a Purpose. The book has sold very well and has helped me to share my testimony with other teens as well as adults.
I was named Conference Player of The Year as a Freshman and Sophomore, leading my team to the final 4 and Championship game in back to back years. Intensity, desire, leader, hustle, grit, all are words my coaches have used to describe me. Voted by my peers to be the youngest Team Captain in School History at the Varsity Level. Selected as the youngest to ever earn the Female Athlete of the Year.
I would like to attend a school where I can get a good education and also be a major contributor on the field. I know I want to do something in Exercise Science or Sports Trainer.
