Hannah Thompson '18 Recruiting Profile

I'm Hannah and I attend Richlands High School in North Carolina. The town I live in isn't anything big or fancy, but it has taught me everything that I know to this day. I fell in love with softball at a young age and I have been playing ever since. I have an outstanding support system behind me consisting of my family and life long friends. Without each of them I wouldn't be where I am in life, or where I am in my softball career. My travel coaches took me in, believed in me, and created me into the player I never pictured I would become.  There is always room for more improvement to learn and develop. I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. My grades have always been important to me, so there is no such thing as slacking off in school. I have worked hard this year and I am currently ranked 9th in my 2018 class, out of 327 students. I've accomplished my goal for freshman year which was being ranked at least in the top twenty students. For next year I would like to be 5th or lower. Giving up is something I never do!  If I don't accomplish my goal I keep trying... just brush off the dirt and keep going. It's all the same for me... in the classroom or on the field. I will always strive to be the best I can be. I won't stop until I get there.  I am looking for the best school and softball program that can help me achieve my goals, which are to earn my degree and play the sport that I love for as long as I can.
