My name is Emerson Karstens and I will be a Junior at Elkhorn High School. In the classroom, I carry a 4.1 GPA and a scored a 27 on the Pre-ACT. I have started and lettered the past 2 years in softball. One of my high school highlights was being the winning pitcher at State softball my Sophomore season against the Number 1 & 2 seed, putting my team in the State Championship Game. I also started and pitched in the Championship game, but we came up short losing 3-1.
I am very competitive and strive to get better everyday both on and off the field. My teammates look up to me on both my high school and club teams. I love to be the person with the ball or bat in my hand when the game is on the line.
My goals for college would be to play softball at the highest level while also studying finance at a school that has a strong academic program.
