Personal Statement
Being a student athlete is key to my focus and determination in becoming the best softball player, teammate, leader and most importantly student I can be. Softball has been apart of my life since I was very young. Holding the plastic bat to hit a whiffle ball in my backyard is how I found my passion for this sport. The excitement and feeling I get when I step on the field is why I love to play softball.
I am a 6' softball player who will graduate in 2018. I play both infield as a shortstop and outfield as a center fielder. Competing at both the Varsity high school level and Gold club team level keeps me focused on continuous improvement. This has allowed me to succeed both on and off the field. Both an All State selection in atheletes and academics. I want to compete in college with a program that challenges me on the field and in the classroom.
As you may have notice, I am a multi sport athlete, however softball is my passion.
I would be honored to be given an opportunity to play in college. My focus long term is to become a physical therapist so I am looking at programs that have a biology program, exercise science, and kinesiology studies.
