Softball is life, right? I know it is a huge part of my life. I started in tee-ball when I was six years old and fell in love with the game. I moved to rec ball when I was seven and fast-pitch when I was eight. The experiences in each have helped me to learn I am very competitive, and to know that I want to excel at and exceed my own expectations. Softball has helped me learn to channel the part of me that is naturally aggressive and competitive so that I know I leave it all out on the field, every time.

However, should my dreams of playing college softball not meet my expectations; I know that I am wired to succeed in other parts of my life as well. My academic goals for high school and college are to be in the top ten percent of my class. I plan to continue into veterinary medicine which will require good grades and focus, things that will enhance non-academic areas as well.

I am outgoing, enthusiastic, a champion for the "underdog", and a great listener, all of which contribute to being a genuine people person. I love to help those around me see the positive side in ANY situation. I have high goals, and I can’t wait to make and break personal goals, both on and off the field, and help my teammates do the same!
