Personal Statement
.
I prepare daily, as a student-athlete, to better myself in the sport of softball and in the classroom with hopes of being able to use my softball skills as a mean to provide me with the opportunity the earn my Bachelor's Degree, at a four year university, in either Rehabilitation, Chiropractic Studies, Physiology, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science. After completing my Bachelor's Degree I plan to enroll in a graduate program to earn my degree in Physical Therapy.
My goal is to be a key member and fantastic teammate to others in collegiate softball. I have a work ethic like no other, drive, and passion for the game of softball, while realizing that academics are just as important. I have been an Honor Roll student since the sixth grade. I continue to work daily on both being a student and an athlete so I have the chance to use my passion, softball, as a tool to help me reach my academic and career goals.
I am a player that is willing to do anything that will benefit the team, from playing multiple positions, learning new positions, and studying the game and the techniques that will improve the game. I am a true team player, always have a great attitude towards teammates and coaches, and strive to improve every day.
I take honor in knowing that I am a great teammate and person of good character. I think of these two things in every decision that I make daily, always thinking of what the right thing to do is and how it will not only affect myself, but also my team, coaches, and family.
