Elizabeth DeRosa '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a college that offers a strong program for the major I choose, and to play softball on a team that works hard and is competitive.  I am a leader on and off the field.  In my academic environment, I have been nominated to be a member of SALC (Student Athlete Leadership Council), have achieved high honors, and have been given the opportunity to participate in other leadership initiatives at my high school.  In my athletic environment, I have been a multi-sport athlete for all 3 years, participated in the Unified Sports program, received the Coaches Award for softball (2017), and the honor of being selected to the NH All State 1st team for softball (2017).   I am a dedicated teammate, and always give 100% when I am on the field.  I have been a 3-year starter on the varsity softball team at Alvirne, playing short stop and 1st base.  This year I have a batting average of .386 with a .950 field percentage.  In the classroom, I work hard and look forward to the challenges, and do my best every day.  I have been told I am a kind and compassionate person.
