Personal Statement
Playing softball in college has been my dream ever since I was little. I want to continue my softball career, as well as grow and develop on and off the field, while I study for my college degree. Since the time I was 6 years old, I have played on many softball teams, most times being the youngest player on the team. I have always earned my way to the top pitching spot on each team and work hard to be a valuable member of every team. My teammates and coaches would describe me as a tough, confident, strong minded person on and off the field. They would also tell you that I am good hearted, always smiling, and there for each of my teammates. Many of my softball teammates tell me how much they love my bubbly personality and I am a really fun person to be around.
I am looking to play for a college program that is like a family to each other. I want to be a part of a strong, healthy team; always being there for my teammates on and off the field. I am working hard this fall and winter to prepare for my SATs, as well as conditioning in the gym to increase my fastest pitch speed. I hope to find a college home where I can reach my potential academically as well as on the field.
