Personal Statement
My name is Lindsay Danias and I am 15 years old and a hardworking Student & Softball player. I am a Sophomore at Randolph High School in New Jersey. I am truly dedicated to Softball, as it is my main sport, and I work on getting better every week all year round. I am currently the starting First Basemen on the Varsity Team and I led the team in home-runs and RBI my freshmen year. I believe I am a clutch hitter and can hit for power and use all fields. I am a much improved fielder as I work on it constantly including attending many skills camps to keep improving. I have played on the club softball circuit since 12u and I am currently playing for NJ Fight Softball (Fairfield, NJ) on their 18u Black Team. I believe I am a great teammate and work on leading by example as well as a vocal leader. I believe in working hard and keeping my teammates spirits up during games and practices.
I really want to continue to play softball after high school. I am confident that I am capable of playing softball in college which makes me more passionate to keep working hard in school and in sports and is the driving force for my personal goals. I am also a hardworking student that always strives to get A's in my classes (currently 3.58 GPA). I believe softball and sports or my extra curricular activities keeps me focused on my school work.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, I am open to going anywhere to a school that is a fit academically as to achieve my career goals, which I hope to determine over the next 3 years of high school.
My athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team as a leader to help my teams get better and knowing that at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest would keep a smile on my face.
