Madison Ovadek '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 2016 Graduate at Portsmouth High School in New Hampshire. I have had a great Junior season. As a team Captain for my High School team, I received the Coach's Award and I was chosen for 2nd team All State Catcher. My club team 18U RallyCats Premier Gold just recently won the NH ASA State Tournament and now we are going down to South Carolina for National's the end of July. 

My goal is to compete at the highest level of softball while receiving an education through college, contribute as a freshman and be a positive impact. I have been working hard competing the past 5 years on my club and school teams in over 150 ASA, NSA, and USSSA sanctioned high level tournaments every summer/fall in many states. I am a starting catcher however I can play where ever you might need me or feel fit as I am an athlete and want to contribute in all aspects of the game. I have always been one of the leaders on both my school and club team's as a hitter. I am currently working with a hitting coach all winter as well as with my club team to continue to get better. I am thankful to have received and enjoyed many MVP awards, accolades and tournament wins along the way, as listed under the 'Athletics' tab.

While I am competitive on the field, I work just has hard in the classroom; I strive to be an Honor Roll participant all four years of high school. I will strongly consider schools of all sizes and divisions from Maine to Pennsylvania and as far south as Florida and east of the Mississippi. 

I have other aspirations and skills, as I love extreme sports Including snowboarding and scootering. I am sponsored by Fuzion, a scooter company where I have competed in tournaments in NH, NY and NJ as well. I am confident when you meet me and see my skills, attitude and personality first hand you will consider me a great fit for your program. I look forward to hearing from you and finding a good fit for my academic and athletic future!
