My high school career with softball has taught me the most important lesson of my life: sacrifices are necessary in order to get where you want to go. While my friends go out to lunch after school and parties at night, I go back to school to practice and then home to do homework all night. I know what I want from my life and what I want to achieve so I will do whatever it takes to get there - even if it means I don't get to hang out at the football tailgate on a Friday night. My philosophy is all about priorities and putting in the work in order to be the best I can be. There's always someone trying to do better than you and effort is required in order to keep your position ahead. This is reflected in me having a 4.0 unweighted/4.375 weighted GPA and being a 3 year varsity athlete. I keep myself busy and maintain a social life, making me a well rounded person that is looking for a perfect fit to play college softball at.
