Elizabeth Baker '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Elizabeth Baker, but everyone calls me Liza. I am a Junior at Hickory Ridge High School. I started playing softball when I was 7 years old. I currently play for my high school team on JV and Varsity. I also play on a travel team and an All-star team. My primary position is 2nd base however I also play 3rd and 1st as a secondary position. This year I was named the MVP for the high school JV team. I have a drive to excell and continually push myself to succeed at all levels.  Academically, I am enrolled in the Academy of Finance and Technology, I challenge myself by taking Honor and AP classes as well as honor academy classes.  I currently have a 3.6 GPA and have made the Honor Roll every semester. I was the Sophomore Class Representative for the FinTech Academy and hold a position on the leadership board. I hope to combine my love of softball and marketing to pursue a career in sports marketing. Softball has taught me to work hard, never give up, and to keep pushing myself.
