Personal Statement
Ever since I was 5 years old, I could remember playing catch in the back yard and having my dad drive me to the local field every Tuesday to play a game and see how far I could hit the ball. Eleven years have passed and I have matured not only as a player but also a person. I always knew playing collegiate softball was in my future and now understanding that education is first and playing ball at this level is a privilege, I want to go to a excellent school that will provide me the tools to be successful in the future, and play for an amazing, hard driven team. Through my schooling career, I have tried my absolute hardest and have been on the honor roll since I was in 7th grade. I have also recently been inducted into the National Honor Society. My academics have been very important to me because I hope to attain as many scholarships as possible, as I know that college is more expensive than we had hoped. As for my Athletic abilities, I am very experienced player and a great leader on the field. I have been catching for seven years and being the only catcher on our travel team, caught up to 70 games per year in travel ball and 15 or more for school ball. It is important for me to try and be the best player I can possibly can be for the teams sake to be the best on the field . I want to be able to play for the best team in the country and I know that with that title comes the players that are the most dedicated and hardworking. I am willing to do everything in my ability to be the absolute best player I can be and I have faith that with hard work and dedication, this will lead me to success in a career, and as a team member.
