Personal Statement

My "Thanks" to all of the colleges and coaches who have offered me scholarships, made phone calls, sent emails and texts, invited me to camps and recruiting visits. Notables are Binghamton Univ, Mansfield, Clarion, Salem International, Lemoyne, UMASS at Lowell, Rhode Island, Vernon College in Texas, MCC, SUNY Canton, Medaille, Morrisville, SUNY Fredonia and many others. I have chosen to attend a college where the Head Coach has done a wonderful job in recruiting me and it has the academic program that I want. It is a college where I can further my education and at the same time make a contribution to their softball team. As my recruiting coach said to me, " It is a good fit and win-win for both parties ". My recruiting journey/ride has been a good one and I'll never have to look back and wish I had did all the things I needed to do to be recruited. We did them all !

My recruiting coach says I'm ready to play at any Division Level I choose and that I'm a "versatile , yet undiscovered" Blue Chip player. I've had good coaching along the way and I know the game of softball well. My goal is to get a quality education and enjoy the sport of softball on my journey.

It was a Story Book Headline, something as a kid you dream about. Bottom of seventh, I'm up to bat with the scored tied 1-1 and we have 2 outs. Got the pitch I needed today ( 5/29) and launched it over the fence for a walk-off Home Run and win 4-1. Articles are posted under press section - under athletics section.
I was Named Section Five Class A1 MVP All Tournament Team. Greece Arcadia won the Section Five Championship by defeating Pittsford Sutherland 4-1.
I have the most hits All-Time of all Arcadia players at 114 in 4 years. I'm third all-time in batting average at .407.
July 31: Now entering final 2 weeks of summer travel ball: Went 2 for 5 last night in Wed League.
July 26&27: Played in Canadian American Softball Tournament in Watertown, NY. Tossed a complete game for win, 3 hitter, 7 kks, went 5 for 9 at the plate with 1 HR, 2 doubles,4 RBIs.
Played Wed Night League 7/16: Tossed a no hitter, 4kks, went 5 for 6 at plate with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.
Played as a Guest Player Sat 7/12. Pitched complete game for win , 1 hitter, 4kks, 1 unearned run. Went 3 for 6 at the plate with 1 RBI. We have won 3 games so far and now headed for Sunday playoffs. Games on Sunday 7/13 were rained out !
Played as a Guest player Saturday & Sunday ( 7/05/06). Tossed 8 innings , allowed 4 hits, 2 runs, 11kks. At the plate 9 for 20 - hit ball hard to all fields. Won The Championship game on Sunday and all six games.
No games this weekend ( 6/27 ) as I will be Graduating this weekend. Playing a limited Travel League schedule this summer. Schedule is posted on this website under my Travel Club. Also will be playing in a Wednesday night league.
Played in U23 for Rochester Revenge. Good experience for me to play up with college softball players. Alternated with pitching with a college player - got 9 innings in over 3 games.
Played in Exceptional Senior Game last night (6/09). Went 3 for 6, 1 triple, 1 double, 1 single and 2 innings of pitching with 3 kks and no runs. Played shortstop and pitched. High School Career now complete. It was fun to play with such good softball players.
Played Travel Ball, went 5 for 10 with 1 Homer, 2 doubles, rest singles and tossed 9 innings. Chose to play for the Rochester Revenge to get more pitching time. Will be playing for U18 and U23 team with same coach. Travel Schedule posted on this site under my travel team.
We lost the state qualifier by a score of 6-5. I went 3 for 3 with a triple and 2 runs scored. I've had a terrific career at Arcadia H.S., an outstanding senior year and an amazing Sectional Tournament being named MVP and with the walkoff homer ( Lifetime memory ) to win the Section V Title. It's now on to summer travel ball and a new beginning ; a college career.
Awards 2014: Named MVP Section Five All Team Tournament, Candidate for All Greater Rochester, 1st Team All County, Named to All Star Team, All Star Game this Sunday at MCC.

We Won our Class A1 Division - Class A1 Champs for the second consecutive year !
Won our 1st & 2nd Sectional games. It was rewarding as 3 pitchers combined for a " perfect game". I pitched 2 innings and my sister Rebecca, a seventh grader, pitched the final inning. Game was only 5 innings with the mercy rule. Today we beat Pittsford Mendon 5-4.

Tossed a 1 hitter for the win with 10 kks in rain shorten game - official game after 5 inn.
Coach said " I've got two savvy and experienced pitchers and we'll be splitting the pitching duties". Picked up the save in Friday's game.
