During my years as a college student I have many goals I wish to accomplish. My top priority is to attend a college with a good Behavioral Sciences or Psychology program, so that I can be successful in my future career. I would love to be a Psychiatrist. Along with this, I wish to play softball all 4 years of college. To be able to play the sport I love the most and get an education is my ultimate goal. There are several things that I can contribute to a college team. My best physical strength is my speed. My home to first speed is clocked at 2.8. This allows me to steal bases quite often in high school and travel ball. My agility is another strength I have. Besides these I bat left handed while throwing right. Batting left handed allows me to slap or drag bunt when necessary. I can play anywhere making me a great utility player! However, my main position is Center Field. Aside from the physical aspects of the game, I have a great attitude that most coaches would love to see in all players. I am extremely determined to get my job done as a team player and encourage my teammates to do the same. I am very personable and easy to coach. I'm always open to new ideas and ready to play anywhere my coach places me. Lastly, academics are a huge part of my life and goals for my future. On my first attempt of the ACT I scored a 24. After taking it again I've raised it to a 25! This year I will be working especially hard to improve my grades, and I will continue to make honor roll as well as keeping all my grades above a 3.0. My overall GPA averages was 3.5. I will work as hard as I can in the classroom to get the education and degree I need to succeed.
UPDATE!!! I have worked to bring my average GPA up to 3.8 at the end of my senior year!!
