- I have always been known as the life of the team. As a young girl playing baseball, I was known the one girl who outplayed the boys on my team. I continued in the Junior Baseball League of Nassau for softball and came in as a catcher (I had previous experience in high school softball). I learned to play every position, mainly focusing on catching, shortstop, second, and third base. I have a continuos drive and passion for softball and I am always determined to improve myself. This sport has played a tremendous role in my life, and I have made it my goal to compete with a competitive college team.
- I have travelled with The Bahamas National Team(JBLN All-Stars) for four summers now. When competing in PONY Fast pitch, I have been commended for my enthusiasm on and off the field, my knowledge of the game, and my flexibility with different positions. My coaches know that I will play to my best ability wherever they put me on the field. Although I would describe myself as competitive, I never let the pressure of the game take away from having fun.
- In the classroom, I excel in my passions. I am very interested in health, well-being and the way the mind works and that is what I am wanting to study. I regularly involve myself in community service, whether it be working with the animals at my local humane society, or working with children in our local homes.
