I have known my whole life that I am going to college. I have grown up playing many sports as well as attending live and watching college sports. Through participating in various athletic events, I have realized my passion is softball. My goal is to play softball in a college where I can also achieve my academic dreams, and so now I am focusing on all aspects of the game year round.
Although I typically play 2nd base or pitch, I am versatile in my skills and have played at all positions in the infield, depending on where my coach needs me. I always give 100% effort at any position to help my team succeed. I am a strong batter, and am coming off of a fall season with my travel team where I averaged .655, and this HS season .544 with a .765 slugging %.
I keep academics at the forefront and challenge myself there as well. I maintain a 4.0+ GPA and have always been enrolled in honors classes and programs. I am responsible, self-disciplined, and self-motivated as both a student and an athlete. I am and always will be committed to excellence and goal achievement both on the field and in the classroom.
