Personal Statement
College is extremely important to me academically and athletically. My academic goals for college may not sound simple, but I have complete faith in myself to achieve them. They are to maintain a 4.0 GPA, become the valedictorian, and to earn a degree in Veterinary Medicine at the best schools possible. My athletic goals are just as demanding. I hope to one day go down in history as one of the top catchers and utility players, with a consistent batting average of .600 or better.
I consider myself to be a great candidate for any team. One reason is that I remain open to constructive criticism, and I am always searching for ways to improve my game. Another reason is while I love catching, I am willing and able to play other positions. I believe being flexible will help the team as I know that a true team consists of every player working together. I take pride in being the best I can be and in helping my team mates be their best as well.
I am unique from other recruits as I maintain a positive attitude in life. I carry myself in a helpful, caring way that sends a constant message for self improvement. I learn new things quickly and adapt to different coaching and teaching styles with an open mind. Since stating school, I have always have straight A grades. While some subjects have been more difficult than others, I have worked hard to understand and master the material. Whether in class or on the field, I am always willing to go the extra mile to achieve my goals.
