My name is Molly Mabry and I am an 18 year-old senior at Deer Creek High School in Edmond, Oklahoma.  I am a right handed pitcher and will graduate in 2017.  I played club/travel softball for the Oklahoma Hericanes, American Freedom and GameTime Stars, and school softball for Deer Creek High School (5A).  I began pitching lessons at age 9 and have attended clinics and camps throughout the Midwest.  My current speed is (58-61 mph) and I have good movement on all my pitches.  My best pitch is my riseball, followed by my screwball, drop-curve, curve, drop, changeup and backdoor-curve.  I have a 3.94 GPA, 4.25 Weighted GPA, a 27 on the ACT, and a 28 ACT when superscored.  My class rank is 1/343 and I am a class Valedictorian.  I am currently in my third year at the prestigious Francis Tuttle Bioscience and Medicine Academy where I take my advanced math and science courses in the morning, afterwhich I return to DCHS for afternoon classes and softball.  My profile includes my skills video from two years ago and two recent highlight videos.  My strong preference has always been to attend a large four-year research university which offers a degree in Medical Humanities or the equivalent, along with diverse academic opportunities such as honors college, living communities, internships and study abroad.  I am grateful to all the coaches and programs which have contacted and offered me, but I have always wanted to attend a large school and have therefore decided to enroll as a non-athlete and focus on the academic opportunities afforded at the University of Alabama.
