Beca Hopping '21 Recruiting Profile

Growing up in a family where baseball played a huge role in my moms life, I played tee-ball from a young age and eventually joined an all-boys OCYB baseball team. Making the transition from a winning baseball team to a not so winning softball program was frustrating at first; however, I couldn’t  imagine my life any other way! 

Going to a high school that hasn’t gone to state since my parents were in high school is challenging, yes, but it has taught me many valuable lessons. It’s taught me to not only work hard but to lead harder. We have learned the value of commitment, sacrifice, teamwork, failure and leadership! I am looking to go to a college that is going to hold me to a higher standard physically and academically. Being a three-sport athlete and a bright student in the classroom, I believe I have what it takes to make an impact on your program!
