Personal Statement
I started playing softball at the age of 4, and over the years it has taught me more than just how to excel at the sport. Through softball, I have learned social skills, leadership, accountability, hard work, respect, team work, mental strength and stability. I never quit and enjoy being challenged on and off the field. My goal is to be accepted to Optometry School after graduation, therefore my schoolwork is very important. Lastly, I have volunteered with my family in ministry for the last six years working with children from struggling homes. This experience has taught me to be humble, to have compassion for people, and most of all, to be thankful.
