Personal Statement
There are aspects of myself that help me to stand out among other aspiring collegiate athletes. I've kept a 4.0 through my entire school career. I'm a firm believer in encouraging my teammates and working hard to keep a positive attitude on and off the field. I have been elected by my teammates as team captain junior year, and now senior year as well. I am a versatile player; my coaches have played me at least once in every position, even catcher. I'm a consistent bunter, and although it affects my batting average I still help to move our runners around. Growing up I worked consistently on pitching. I learned how to throw a "nasty" change-up, a drop ball, curve, and an off-speed pitch. Though my true love is infielding or outfielding, I'll work hard to pitch each game like it's my last. Softball has always been my passion, and I hope to continue that passion at a more competitive level.
