Janelle Rodgers '15 Recruiting Profile

I have always had a goal of playing college softball and using it as a tool to help me pursue my ultimate dream of being a pediatric oncology nurse. I have put in countless hours on the field, in the gym, as well as the classroom to be prepared for the next step. I feel I would be a valuable asset to any program both on the field as well as the classroom. I have always let my play talk for me and lead by example. I  know I am capable of playing at any level collegiately but also believe that you would be getting a student-athlete that is far from being maxed out and is only going to get better every year! Even though I play short stop, I am very versatile. I have been pitching since I was 6yrs old and have the athleticism and the speed to play anywhere. Do to my build and athleticism I have decided to focus on being a position player that can pitch if needed.  Most importantly I just want play and compete at the next level and am willing to do whatever it takes.
