I play softball because I love the sport. When I step onto the field, all my worries go away and I'm focused on the game. I love to compete, I love to meet new people and build amazing friend ships that I will have for a lifetime. I am currently a junior at Marist Catholic HS in Eugene and before that, I was at Sheldon HS also in Eugene for my freshman and sophomore years. I transferred to Marist for academic reasons and love the change. I want to attend college and play at the next level and hope to do so in the fall of 2017. I am a left handed pitcher, bat left and also play outfield. I am currently playing Fall Ball for the NW Sidewinders 18G under Leslie Poole. 2014-2015 seasons I played for Oregon Blaze 18G under Mic Bowman. 2012-2014 I played for the Oregon Titans 14A under Rick Muranaka. The Titans were the 2014 ASA State Champions and also took 4th place in the Triple Crown Nationals in Utah that summer. I throw in the high 50's to low 60's. My pitches are fastball, curve, drop, screw, rise, knuckle change and flip change. As a freshman at Sheldon I was the starting Varsity pitcher, we took 2nd place in our league and made our first appearance in the State playoffs in 8 years. I received 2nd team all league honors and then due to a pinched nerve I wasn't able to throw most of my sophomore year. I am fully recovered and throwing again with passion! A little more about me on a personal level; I have been playing baseball and softball since I was 6 as well as basketball and volleyball. I played Babe Ruth baseball from 6-9 yrs old and then finally gave into my mothers request to “try” softball. I loved it from the first day of practice with Coach Baldy! My first love of the sport was catching. I only started pitching in the 8th grade because one of our players got hurt and no one else pitched. I volunteered in the championship game in the poring rain during the fall. From there on I was a pitcher. I started my pitching lessons with Mike White (when I promoted from 8th grade he couldn't teach me anymore, sad day) and currently with Alicia Cook (former Oregon pitcher). These two really influenced me over the past few years to want to be the best I can. I am an only child to two wonderful parents, Ben and Clarissa. My parents are not married, but both are strong supporters in my passion for the sport. My grandparents “Nana & Papa” are also two of my biggest fans. I wouldn’t know the sport without them. They did the same for my mom! I am a very active kid. I like to spend time with friends and family in the outdoors. Thank you for taking the time to view my website and I look forward to hearing from you.
