Morgan Ceprish '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Morgan Ceprish and I am a senior at West Perry High School in Elliottsburg, PA. To me, my athletics and academics are equally important. I am competitive in both of these areas. On the field and in the classroom, I strive to be the best that I can be. In school, I have achieved Distinguished Honors or Honors every marking period since sixth grade. My goal has always been to get recognized for my grades in all classes until I graduate. All of my classes are college prep or honors courses. To add to this, I have been selected to be part of my school's National Honor Society chapter.  My tendency to put forth 100% effort into my academics is only one of many reasons why I am a prime candidate to be a college student athlete. Athletically, I am both a driven player and team player. I have been playing fast-pitch softball since 2012. My speed, base running, and infield/outfield skills are admired by many people. I was picked up for travel at a young age with little experience. I am the starting shortstop for PA Triple Threat travel out of Shiremanstown, PA. I am determined to do the same for my high school softball team. I aim to improve my skills by getting additional batting lessons and practicing on my own. Overall, my will to work for what I want, in both education and sports, makes me a motivated student athlete, despite the challenges that come along with it. I will not give up until I am successful.
