Personal Statement

I am a 5'5" junior from Hazleton, PA, and will be graduating in the class of 2012. I have started for the Hazleton Area Varsity High School Softball Team as a pitcher/infielder for the last two years. I have also been the starting pitcher and leading hitter for the Wyoming Valley Vipers 14u and 16u travel team for the past four years. I am an honors student carrying a 98 GPA. I am looking forward to pursuing a career within the field of forensic science. I am a hardworking, dedicated team player both on and off the field. I want to continue my athletic abilities in softball on the college level and am open to explore opportunities at all divisions. As a dedicated student and athlete, I am looking for a university that will give me the opportunity to achieve my goals and excel in both academics and athletics.
