My name is Alyssa Myers and I am a catcher for the Newtown Rock 18U Amendolara. I am a junior at Hatboro-Horsham High School after spending my freshman and sophomore years at Gwynedd Mercy Academy. I play softball because I love the game and love my teammates. I am a friendly, easy going kid who has been playing softball since the age of 5. I am looking for a college team that will allow me to develop great friendships and the opportunity to continue to play the game that I love. I am also looking for a college that will help me find a job in the business/marketing/communications/creative writing field. My parents are both in marketing and I could very much see myself doing something similar. This year at Hatboro-Horsham I am taking AP and honors levels classes and I plan to take the ACT exam this winter.
