Being a pitcher before, I've always been taught to be humble, so bragging is difficult for me. I can honestly say though, if I come to your school and softball program, I can and will make an immediate impact whether it is fielding or hitting. This game has impacted my life tremendously. If I'm not playing I'm thinking about it or training. I don't know what I would do without softball. I don't plan on stopping until my goals are met. I play every game like it's my last, I hold nothing back. I will never stop playing this way until my softball career is over. I am planning, after my college career, to play in the Olympics(hoping) and in the NPF. As you can see I am a very confident person. I believe in myself and my abilities. Besides my softball abilities, I am a very good student. I don't settle with my grades until I think they are the best they can be. I always see room for improvement. I pickup on things quickly and if I have difficulty with something I will continually do it until I get it. I don't believe in allowing something to get the best of me. Mistakes happen to the best of us, but can't get the best of us. My parents and coaches always taught me that it takes hard work and dedication to make your dreams come true and that you are the only one that can make your dreams come true. As for me giving back, I volunteer my time to help coach baseball and softball teams. I also, once a week, have a pitching lesson with a 10 year old girl. I have been working with her for 2 years now and it is great to watch her grow. I want to be a positive role model for the younger generation of softball like Jennie Finch, Monica Abbott, Cat Osterman, Ivy Renfroe, Maddison Shipman and so many others.
