A dream of mine, since I was little, was to have a softball career during college. Some of my friends can not even understand my passion for softball because it's so large. My passion has followed colleges, and even the olympics on tv. I've been playing since teeball, but got serious around 12 years old when I tried out for a travel team. When I started off playing travel, I was catching. The next year I had moved up to the 14u team, and had got invited to play with 18u at a tournament. They had me catch for them. After my 2 years with 14u, I moved up to 16u and had stopped catching. I had played third before, but started there that year. I only played 16u for one year and movedd up to 18u. Besides travel, I played on the Babe Ruth Phoenixville All-Star teams. During 10u All-Stars, we were invited to the Babe Ruth World Series where I received three MVPs. When I hit 7th grade, the big goal was making the school team. I made both the 7th and 8th grade teams. Spring-ford is a large school, so almost every sports team had a 9th grade team. Then there's softball a sport not as popular as others, so it was all or nothing to make varsity. I made and started at third my freshman year. Sophomore year, the team went down to Florida for pre-season, which was a chance in a lifetime. That year, I started second base. I was leading off slapping. That year; I went first team Pac-10 for second base, ended the year with a .500 batting average, and was recommended to play for the Chester County Carpenter Cup team. I am now in my Junior year, starting at third again. I plan to head to college to start my college career and further my education. I would like to study criminal justice as my dream career is to be a crime scene investigator. I've wanted to be CSI since I was 8 years old. I like solving mysteries. After college, I plan on getting a job and starting a career. After I build my career, I want to start a family.
