Personal Statement

Hi coaches,

My name is Emily Carmella and I am a 2015 graduate from Stroudsburg High School in Pennsylvania. In addition to my primary position of 3rd base, I also play 2nd base and outfield. I am looking forward to continuing my softball career in college and studying Health Sciences/Physical Therapy. I currently hold a 3.6 GPA and participate in my high school concert band who was recently titled 3rd place in the nation. I have been the starting varsity 3rd baseman for AAAA Stroudsburg High School since the first game of my freshman year. I have been playing softball since I was 7 years old and have enjoyed every minute of it. I also play tournament ball for the Pocono Pride Showcase Black, (www.poconopride.com) and joined the Pride in 2010. I also play club ball for the Pocono Poison 18U. I am constantly working on my skills and preparing myself for the next level and I look forward to seeing what opportunities lie ahead.
