Sara Kohli '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi. My name is Sara and I want to take a few minutes to tell you a little about myself. I am 5'5", 112 lbs., and play infield. My time to first base is 2.96 seconds. My hitting is improving as I finished the summer with a .323 batting average. I pride myself on my work ethic, team pride and desire to do the best I can. I was a member of the first ever Pennsylvania 11-year-old Little League Softball State Champions in 2004. My club team has placed 3rd at ASA States and 9th at ASA Eastern Nationals in 2008. In 2010 we finished 2nd at ASA States and 5th at ASA Eastern Nationals. My high school team has a combined record of 42-14 and back to back district championships in my first 2 years and a runner-up last year. My preference of school location would be to stay in the geographical northeast, but I will not eliminate other places if I feel the fit is right. I am looking for small/medium schools in the D II - D III range. Again I am open to others if the fit is right. My education is the most important part of all of this. I have decided on Elementary Education/Special Education as my major and the academic record of the school is very important. My athletic goal for college is to have an opportunity to play as a freshman and bring a positive impact to the team. I am sure that your team and I would be a good fit.
