Personal Statement
My name is Emma Campbell and I am an incoming junior at the Moses Brown School in Rhode Island. As well as playing on the school's varsity softball team, I am a player on the 18U Rhode Island Thunder Gold Wilson team. My primary position is shortstop, but I also play second base, outfield and pitcher. I believe I am a good candidate for a college team because I show dedication, leadership, and perseverance. In order to become a more successful player, I take batting lessons with a private coach and pitching lessons out of Planet Fastpitch in Uxbridge, MA. As a student athlete at my school, I am taking three Honors classes this year as a junior. Also, I take part in the school's Key Ambassador group. Most people describe me as intellegent, confident, highly competitive but humble, and friendly to others. Finally as a student I am hardworking, devoted, and responsible in the classroom. I show all these characteristics by showing up on time, doing my homework and being prepared for tests and quizzes. I would love to become a part of a college community and team in the near future.
