Taylor Adkins '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to graduate somewhere in the top of my class and to go to a school that I can play the sport I love competitively. What makes me a good candidate for a coaches team would probably be my willingness to learn and play positions that I don't normally play on the field. I am also very responsible because I live on a dairy farm and when working with animals you have to be on the ball everyday you can not take a day off if you do who knows what would happen. I don't just play softball because I like it, I play it because it is one of the few things that I'm good at, softball is apart of me if couldn't play it I don't know what I would do. Softball is also something I can connect with my mom with, she played 1st base all through highschool, ( maybe that's why first base is my favorite to play), we don't get along all the time but I can honestly say I am my mothers daughter when it comes to playing softball. My athletic aspirations are to be important to my team, I don't want to just be a player that can easily be replaced, I want to be able to get good enough to go to the next level in softball even past college. My academic aspirations are as I said earlier, to graduate in the top of my class and to be able to have awesome grades and even better plays on the field.
