Hi, I'm Izzy! I am from a small town right outside Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I live in the country and I go to a high school with about 400 other kids. Outside of softball I enjoy canoeing, 4-wheeling, FCA, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy volunteering my time to help young girls learn how to pitch at a local softball clinic each week. My education is very important to me and I hope to one day find a job I love. I plan to major in Pre-Med in college.
Softball is my passion. Softball has given me confidence to perform in tense and competitive situations. Teamwork has taught me to concentrate on others more than myself. Without the eight other girls on the field, I would get nowhere. A team is only as strong as its weakest link. Softball has also given me the ability to meet so many new people who have impacted me throughout the years. So many of the girls I have played with have become my sisters. My favorite feeling is the rush of adrenaline I get after diving into a base and hearing the umpire yell "safe".
Softball defines me.
