Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Addie Keef and I am a 2023 grad at Silverdale Baptist Academy in Chattanooga, TN. I currently play travel ball for Fury Platinum - Brown 16U. I am a slapper and my time from home to first is in the 2.7s. I utilize my speed through bunts, hard slaps, soft slaps, and swinging away. My primary position for this team is outfield and I also play middle infield. For my high school varsity team, I play second base.
Some of my greatest strengths are speed, versatility, athleticism, and being able to remain calm under pressure. I love to compete and live for the big moments when the game is on the line.
I fell in love with softball at the age of 4 and I have been playing competitively since I was 7. I am also a multi-sport athlete, playing four sports in middle school (softball, soccer, basketball, and volleyball) and playing both softball and volleyball in high school. I believe the benefits of cross training with different sports has made me a better athlete.
I am interested in being a Veterinarian. I plan to get an undergraduate degree in a science field. My GPA is 4.0 and I continue to work hard to maintain it. As a student athlete, I have developed the work-ethic and leadership skills to make a positive impact on your program.
