February 2017Personal Statement
My name is Maddie McGovern; I will be a 2018 graduate from Burleson High School. Since I started playing softball, when I was 7, my goal has been to play softball at the collegiate level. I am goal oriented and play to win. I will work hard to achieve team goals and focus on the task to achieve them. I have always been taught that my work ethic, attitude, heart, and effort I put into this game will carry over into everything else; I do and it has. I love softball; and the chance to play in college both excites and drives me to be the best I can be. I have a very outgoing personality, I love to joke around and have a great time, but I also know when it needs to be serious. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.
