2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Katie Marshall and I am a sophomore at Everman High School in Everman, Texas. Last year I started every game at the varsity level. I also was the starting pitcher in every district game, and when I was not pitching I was in center field. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and have never looked back. I am a very competitive person on and off the field. Playing softball in college has always been an aspiration of mine and I plan to work until I achieve that goal. I have a very good work ethic and love giving everything I have to the game. Playing softball in college would be good for me too because I am used to juggling my school with athletics. This year I was also on my schools varsity volleyball team, but softball is still my first love. I am currently number 2 in my class and have a GPA of 4.31. I love to learn and plan to be a nurse someday.
I look forward to finding the college that is right for me and that I am right for. I also look forward to building relationships with coaches and continuing to improve as an athlete and a student.
