Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations are being the best that I can be wherever that may be. I believe I am a good candidate for your team because no matter the struggle, giving up is never an option. I've worked really hard to get where I am today and I will continue to work until I can't work anymore. I've made mistakes along the road, mistakes that have kept me humble. The number one rule in my house is school comes first and I've obeyed that rule every step of the way.  An illness and surgery gave me a huge hurdle to overcome in the fall of my sophomore year, and my grades suffered for that, but I have been working very hard on the field and in the classroom  since I returned.  I feel more focused and stronger now because of it.   I believe there is a fine line between being good and being great. Hard work and dedication will lead you to greatness.  I work extremely hard because of my passion and drive for this sport.  What makes me different?  My respect for myself and my team will always drive me to make the best decisions.  I try to be a leader on any team I play on.  You don't have to be the loudest on the team to be a leader... I try and lead my friends and teammates on and off the field with positivity, integrity and faith.  No matter the outcome of the game or the practice, I believe there is always something you can improve on, and I work on making myself a better person/Christian/athlete every day.  There are many things I want to say about why I would be an excellent choice for a recruit, but I feel if you see me on the field and in person, that will speak louder than anything I could type here.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
