Softball has always been a big part of my life. I started playing when I was four and have loved it ever since. Softball is very important to me but my grades take first priority in everything I do. I take honors and AP courses and I am very committed to excelling on and off the field. I am a very competitive person so I think that helps me in the classroom as well as on the field. I am always trying to do better on an assignment than I did the previous time and I hate losing.

When I am on the field I know that nothing can stop me from putting in my best effort and giving it all I have to help my team win and get better. One of the many reasons I fell in love with the sport of softball was that whether I am standing in the batter's box or chasing after a fly ball no one can stop me. I do everything in my ability to succeed and help my team win. I have always been small from an early age which definitely fueled the fire in me to win. People always underestimated me so all I had to do was step on the field and prove them wrong.
