Kimberly Brown '17 Recruiting Profile

2016 Season- .338, 5 HR, 18 RBI, CS 66% In my junior year I was named All South Plains Super team Catcher and Dist Defensive player of the year. In my Sophmore season I was the 2-6A 1st Team All-District Catcher and won the MHS Fighting Heart award last year. In my freshman year I was named the 4-4A 1st Team All-District Catcher and Newcomer Of The Year. I am solid at every position but extremely quick behind the plate. Academically, I have never been below a 4.0. As of right now I am pursuing academic scholarships within the state of Texas. I am open to athletic scholarships and would love to play in college. I have not been contacted or recruited by any schools. Last Summer I was very proud to have been selected to play on Americas Team Softball in Europe. It was a great honor to represent the country and the sport I love. Competitiveness and an intense desire for excellence are my greatest qualities. I understand that softball requires hard work and discipline. These are used in the classroom as well. This will help me achieve many goals on the field, off the field and later through life.
