My name is McKayla and I am a Bear, a Slider, and a King. Those names are important. They represent me, my school, my coaches and my parents. They make me who I am, and who I hope to be. I want to be my best, do my best, and always, always improve myself! I am proud to be a catcher, not just any catcher, a great catcher! I want to take the skills I have learned and continue to learn and take them to the next level. I want to be the player that coaches want, I want to be the person that people want to be around. I want to lead those who need a leader, and help those who are needing a hand. I am going to play college ball some day. Period. There is no Plan B for me, no I will be on a college team someday playing the game I love! I will try as hard in the class room as I do on the field, only giving my best all the time. Dreams come true every day, and someday soon I will be telling girls younger than me to believe in themselves and follow their dreams because I will be where I have always dreamed to be... walking onto a college softball field, in catchers gear, with a huge smile on my face!
