Alyssa Lavine '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Alyssa Lavine and I am a passionate, highly motivated and competitive travel softball player. I am currently a Junior at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, VA.  I started playing softball at a very young age and quickly discovered that this was my passion.  Softball not only gives me confidence but teaches me to swing for the fence in life, especially when things get tough. These skills are useful in helping me to excel in school and on the field. I am willing to do whatever it takes, go the extra mile to get the job done both on and off field. 
 
I come from very a supportive military family that has taught me to make quick adjustments and decisions which aides in my ability to adapt to many changes on and off the field.  These changes also allow me to be disciplined in school and active in my community. Although my family and I have lived in different places around the world, my love for school and softball have never wavered.
 
With the support of my family and the commitment that I have for academics and softball, my ultimate goal is to be able to play in college.  This has been a dream of mine since I first started playing softball and I am working hard to ensure that my dream becomes a reality.
