2014 Game HighlightsPersonal Statement
Ever since I was little I have always loved the game of softball. Once I hit pre teen I knew I wanted to pursue my dream of playing softball at the college level. But right now my focus is not just on softball, it is also on school. I like to learn new things and see what challenges I can face. If I was asked what I wanted to be when i grow up I would say something in the medical field. I know even after softball I want to be able to help athletes. So going into sports medicine I think would be the right option for me.

- This is the same team I had started with in the very beginning. The coach decided to change organizations the year before. I feel like I grew this summer by facing many older girls which improved my talent level.

- I had two full days of pitching with Denny Tincher and I picked up some very helpful tips. While there, I also talked with some of the current players and learned not only about the softball program, but we also discussed what majors are offered, tuition, financial aid & SATs. It was great to finally meet Coach Simmons, after emailing for months before the camp. I loved every minute of my time at Lynchburg College.

- I went to this camp curious of how it was going to be. I got there and I loved it. We did drills that I had never seen before and they were very helpful. I learned new batting techniques that will defiantly help me in the long run. This would be a place that I would like to learn more about because I really liked the camp.

- I was invited to this Elite Camp and was among the 40 athletes that attended. Meeting other girls that share the same passion as I do and learning from college coaches and players was an amazing experience.

- My entire softball team was invited to attend a Roanoke College camp. We got to experience the full softball workout that the players do when they are inside. It was a great experience meeting the players and the coaches. I got great advice and drills to do from the coaches and players
