My name is McKenzie Vrooman, but I go by Mack, short for Mack Attack, because that is what I do.
I stake my claim on the field at second base (or short stop or even outfield) and defend it with all of my might. I attack the ball with all of my being; the ball will not get past me without a fight! Not any amount of blood, dirt, or painful bruises will slow me down. I am Mack Attack.
I face situations off the field with the same tenacity. I am quiet, but do not mistake that for meaning I am weak; I am far from it. I work hard at everything I do. I have a 3.9 GPA that will only increase in the next two years. I have been student of the year, acknowledged by my coaches with the Hustle Award as well as the Coach's Award, and a Volunteer Service Award. I am a member of my school's Key Club, which ranges from organizing school blood drives to volunteering at various places in the city, mainly the elementary schools and Dunlop House, an assisted living facility. I am also a member of my city's Youth Advisory Council which addresses and resolves teen issues in the community.
Sincerely,
Mack
