Personal Statement
My name is Julia Longo and I am a pitcher from McLean, Virginia. I will graduate from McLean High School with the class of 2018. I started playing softball at the age of 5 and fell in love with the game. I currently play for the 14U Jersey Intensity National-KP team, where I am a pitcher and third baseman. This spring I played for my high school’s varsity team and was the starting pitcher. I was honored to receive First Team All-Conference Pitcher, 2nd Team All Region, and an All Met Honorable Mention, as a freshman pitcher. I love all aspects of playing the game, such as all the friendships I’ve made, the places I have traveled to, the leadership skills I have developed, and the game itself. I am looking for a school where I can play competitive ball, while getting a great education.
