Personal Statement
My name is Angelle Marshall. I am currently a junior at Fauquier High School in Warrenton, Virginia, and I was the starting catcher for the varsity softball team as a freshman and a sophomore. Aside from my high school team, I play on the Fauquier Freeze travel team. We play competitive Fall and Summer seasons and continue to improve our skills all year round. I first started playing softball at the age of eight and immediately fell in love with the game. Every time I step on the field, I am reminded why I fell in love with the game in the first place. I am constantly working to improve my athleticism and skills in order to be the best player I can be.
I am not only committed to softball, but also to my academics. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and I am enrolled in as many honors and AP classes that are offered
I have a strong desire to continue playing softball at the collegiate level. I am convinced that my college experience will not be complete without it. I am looking for a college that will challenge both my athletic and academic capabilities. I will continue improving my game and working hard to achieve all of my future goals.
