Kaly Garcia '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaly Garcia and I am a 16 year old Junior!  I currently play for The VA Glory Elite-Aubel 18U out of Northern Virginia and I attend Loudoun County High School in Leesburg, VA.  I know you have probably heard that same line over and over before from prospective student athletes that it has always been a dream of theirs to play for a top notch softball program while obtaining a quality education .  Yes, and I too have a dream but I see it as a goal!  My father is a disabled Marine Corp Veteran and my mom finished law school but never got to practice as she had to find a job that would allow her to be home to take care of me, my dad and my little brothers.  They have both taught me about sacrifice, leadership, family, dedication, honor, loyalty and trust!  I believe that all of these qualities and then some that have been instilled in me have made me the incredible student athlete that I am today.  My dream/goal is to one day be a part of a softball family/program at the collegiate level where I will receive a bar none education as well as being a vital part in helping my team bring home that championship that is so sought after by many teams.  Just like my father represented our country as a Marine I want to do the same in one day playing for Team USA.  I am all about going that extra mile to become better than what's out there and trusting myself in every aspect of the game.  I have accomplished that and I know there is always room for improvement and I am open to it.  I had the honor of watching the college teams compete on television and while researching each and every  program and learning a lot about the coaches and the staff.  I know that playing at the collegiate level is definitely what I want to do without a question!  I'm reaching out to you so that you will keep me on your radar.
