Personal Statement
I am currently a sophomore at Mesa Community College in Arizona. I finished the season as our starting centerfielder and lead off hitter. I was selected the team's Impact Player of the Year. I hit and fielded my position very well. My fall season was highlighted by going 2 for 3 versus Arizona State on October 16th. In addition to the outfield I also have pitched in some games. In school I am studying to pursue a degree in Sports Management. I am looking to transfer to a Division 1 or 2 school when I am finished at Mesa. In high school I earned all county and all league honors playing for Lynden Christian in Lynden, Washington. I have been fortunate to have some great coaches. My hitting coach was Dustin Suiter, who has coached at Western Washington U and Texas Tech. My pitching coach was Amy Suiter, who is the current head coach at Western Washington University.
I have always been involved in community activities. In Washington I volunteered at Lynden Manor Assisted Living. Currently, here in Arizona I am volunteering with the Fiesta Bowl serving in such capacities in media operations. I have also worked administrative assistant for the NSFL Arizona Racers for the General Manager.
